War is terrible. And the numbers being seen between Israel and Palestinians is disheartening and sad. But what can we learn from this from a biblical perspective especially if this is the land of God’s people?

Below are verses that describe what will happen when the most tide brings his people back to Israel and the hand of Yah it’s not forced by sanctions and political agreements.

Questions from Zeke 37:

  1. Did mankind try to force the hand of God by giving Jewish people the now named land of Israel?
  2. Where in the bible does it say Israel would have to fight for their lives once their god has brought them into the promise land?

o Jer. 32:37 – Why aren’t they dwelling in safety? Behold, I will gather them from all the countries to which I drove them in my anger and my wrath and in great indignation. I will bring them back to this place, and I will make them dwell in safety.
o Amos 9:14-15
o Jer. 23: 3
o Jer. 29:24
o Isaiah 43:5-6
o Zephaniah 3:19-20 … Didn’t the Jewish god do this in 1948?
o Ezekiel 37:21-27

  1. Is the lack of divine protection due to a case of mistaken Identity?
    o Rev. 2:9
    o Rev. 3:9
    o Gen. 9:27

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS FROM A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE. – SHALOM ZEKE37

During our fall feast of Sukkot. There is so much to be grateful for:
• The return of our bridegroom Yahshua the Messiah
• The reminder of how our ancestors dwelled in booths after leaving Mitzrayim
• Knowing our tent dwelling along with this captivity is only temporary

As the world goes more and more into chaos, I am encouraged by the word of Yah:

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:3)

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
(Rev. 18:4)

Behold, I will gather them from all the countries to which I drove them in my anger and my wrath and in great indignation. I will bring them back to this place, and I will make them dwell in safety. (Jer. 32:37)

Growing up are used to watch a show called “Good Times”. During one episode it related the black people in the United States to the lost tribes of Israel (watch here). To make this comparison is often called racist an anti-sematic. However not to address this biblically would be shameful and a contradiction of 2Timothy 2:15:

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Unfortunately, instead of having confidence in what truth reveals, many of those who do decide to dig deeper are punished; to the point where we must ask the question Paul asked the Galatians…
“16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16)

Color:

When I read the Bible many questions the rise especially concerning the color of the Israelites. Although this blog post is focused on the condition of Israelites, color is still worth mentioning. Below are a few questions and Bible verses you may want to study on your own:

  1. If Jewish people today are from the line of Shem… why do they resemble those from the line of Japheth in Europe and why do many of them claim to be Ashkenazi Jews when “Ashkenaz” is a descendent of Japheth according to Gen. 1:1-3?
  2. How did fair skinned Jewish people survive the heat? Per the book of Exodus, we know Israelites were in captivity to the Egyptians. We also know that there was no sunscreen, and the Israelites are forced to make bricks. That would not farewell for a non-melanated Jewish person today. History has proven that the Egyptian’s during this time were a dark skin group of people. So much so that Joseph’s brothers (Israelites) did not recognize him when they came to get green during a famine. (Gen. 42:6-8)

What color were Moses and his sister before the most high made them leprous? Then the LORD said, “Put your hand inside your cloak.” So Moses put his hand into his cloak, and when he took it out, the skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow. Exodus 4:6-7
9 The anger of the LORD burned against them, and he left them.
10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease

Condition:

Greater than skin color, I would like us focus on the condition of Israelites as described in the bible. Although this more be difficult for those who are not familiar with, the transatlantic slave trade and the Arabic Slave trade reading the follow passages slowly could help.

Passage you must reconcile within yourself. What group of people fit these verses today?

o Deuteronomy 28:25-28
o Leviticus 26:14-46

Which group of children have the greatest change of surviving the building of Pyramids?

Many of the biblical parables shared by Yahshua can be simply explained If one had a simple understanding of the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel.

If you are not familiar with the history of Israel, the kingdom of Israel was split in 2 around 975 BC. This was prophesied by Ahijah in 1 kings 11:11-13, 29-39

During the exile of the northern kingdom many of the customs, tradition and language was adopted by Israelites who were dispersed to these regions (Samaria, Galilee Phoenicia, Damascus, Phillip, etc.)

After disobeying Yahuah (the Elohim if Israel) The Northern Kingdom was the first group to be taken in to exile by the Assyrians (see: 2 Kings 17: 21-23) Later in 2 Kings 24-25 the Southern Kingdom (Judah) is taken into exile by Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.

Due to the northern Kingdom being taken into captivity first many of their people mix culturally with their captors and those in surrounding areas. Many if those in the north forgot their culture, and some even forgot the Hebrew language. The lack or loss of culture in the north caused many in the southern kingdom to look down upon those in the northern kingdom… many times referring to them as “Gentiles” (Eph. 2:11-19)

Yahshua’s earthly father Joseph was forced to travel to Israel for a census. This is why Jesus was born in the southern kingdom in the city of Bethlehem. However, we do know Joseph was a carpenter in an area called Galilee in the city of Nazareth. Moreover, this makes our Messiah associated with both the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel.

Let’s bring understanding to what we have learned today by reading John 7: 1-2, 40 -43. I will add commentary to help break down this passage in context.

John 7
v. 1
After these things Jesus (Yahshua) walked in Galilee (the northern kingdom where he was raised): for he would not walk in Jewry (the Southern Kingdom where he was born), because the Jews (Israelites of the Southern Kingdom) sought to kill him.
2 Now the Jew’s (the Israelites who held fast to the law in the south their) feast of tabernacles was at hand
v. 40-43
40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
41 Others said, This is the Christ (Messiah). But some said, Shall Christ (Messiah) come out of Galilee (Northern Kingdom often called Gentiles)?
42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

I am always surprised when someone says, “We don’t have to do that because those laws, they are for the Jews”. While in Christianity, I often struggled with why Jewish people were punished for not obeying the law but everyone else could be saved by the same God but be covered by grace alone.

I had always been taught the God of the bible was just, but changing the rules for non-Israelites seems extremely unjust.

Good News the Most High Yah (the true God of the Bible) is just. He does not have different laws for strangers versus Israelites. Understanding this fact will have direct impact on whether or not you can come into the Father’s kingdom.

Biblical References:
Be you an Israelite or a stranger there is one law for both is according to Exodus 12.

Exodus 12:48
48 “A foreigner residing among you who wants to celebrate the LORD’s Passover must have all the males in his household circumcised; then he may take part like one born in the land. No uncircumcised male may eat it. 49 The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.”

Yah is just. He would not hold 1 group to a standard and change it up for another. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight”. Numbers 15 is a witness to this proverb.

Number 15:14-16
14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
One Law… Israel… and the Kingdom

Have you ever asked yourself the question? “What is a sin?”

The answer to this question is highly dependent on who you’re talking to. For those who don’t practice of faith and for those who do practice Christianity, Islam, Catholicism etc. you will find the answer to this question is highly subjective.

In order to bring clarity to the answer to this question Zeke37 would like to focus on the words truth, and sin.

Most followers of the Bible would agree that sin is anything that doesn’t please God. They will often reference his laws outlined in Exodus chapter 20 (the 10 Commandments). Unfortunately, very few of these people can list all 10 Commandments nor do they practice them.

The remaining masses of people will often user term Judeo Christian values to encompass commandments in the Bible preventing them from having to say the words Bible, laws or Torah. However, even this idea has been watered down to cultural norms, and one’s person measurement of morality. If this seems confusing… It Is! There is no standard of truth that most proclaimed bible followers agree upon. Hence the popular saying “Live your truth”.

To understand sin we must first establish truth. For this exercise I will assume that everyone who reads Zeke37 trust in the Bible and uses it as a foundation for how they conduct their lives. If you don’t this is not the blog or article for you.

Biblical Findings:

Truth:

The solution is in our Messiah (Yahshua) is and at the comforter he left his followers, the Ruach HaKodesh.

In John 8:32 the master says he is the truth:
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

King James Version (KJV)
Yahshua is the truth come in the flesh also known as the word. (See John 1:14)

Yahshua even goes so far to leave us the Ruach who will guide us in Truth. (John 16:13)
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

Yahshua left the Ruach who will guide us into truth.

What is that truth the Ruach is guiding us into? The definition of truth if found here in Psalm 119:142
“Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.”

This is sin:
1 John 3:4
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
Romans 7:7
“What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.”

Conclusion:
o The truth is the law (Torah) according to 1 John 3:4.

o If you have the Ruach (Holy Spirit) in you it will lead you to obey the law (John 16:13).

o The Messiah is the word (Torah) in the flesh (John 1:14)

o He (our Messiah) is the truth (the law) that leads to life (John 14:6)

o The truth which is Torah will make you free (John 8:32)
